Launched in February 1995, Manor Mortgages was born out of a desire to provide an unparalleled service that would essentially be a harmonious balance of three key elements:

- rate and product for the client
- a professional and efficient service to all parties
- procuration fee to the introducing broker

Balancing these three simple elements are still what drives us today more than a decade later.

Whilst much has changed since we first began, there is also much that has not. Clients still have the same complex employment patterns and income streams, and still require a flexible underwriting approach from a process that can accommodate their particular needs and requirements.

Technology is an area that has seen vast improvement, but is one that we believe should be handled with care. There are many lenders out there for example who have had key underwriting angles and local decision making taken away when their processes’ reliance upon technology has become all encompassing.

 

We have therefore evolved our process to embrace both of these facets of the modern day mortgage market. Combining flexibility in human underwriting whilst harnessing the advantages presented by electronic I.D. verification for example, means that we truly can offer the best of both worlds. Then set the process against a backdrop of staff with determination, commitment and a can-do attitude, and that is what makes Manor the success that it is today, and will be tomorrow.
