Manor Conveyancing

Manor Conveyancing is, to us, a natural extension to the onsite underwriting and packaging process. Using the information and documents already obtained by our underwriting teams, Manor Conveyancing effectively packages the legal process for our panel solicitors, ensuring your case is able to reach a speedy conclusion without unnecessary duplication.

Manor Conveyancing will be instructed the day the mortgage application is received by Manor Mortgages, so when the case is ready for offer, the initial stages of the legal process are already complete.

Just let your underwriter know that you would like to use Manor Conveyancing, and we will do the rest.  You receive £100 for every completion where Manor Conveyancing is instructed on standard fees.  This fee can be amended if required.

Manor Conveyancing is run by a legally qualified manager with 20 years’ experience in mortgage lending.

We instruct from a small panel of Solicitors with whom we have long term relationships.

We offer coverage for virtually any mortgage lender in the market.

We would also be happy to instruct Conveyancers even if we are not dealing with a mortgage application.

Certain lenders operate a restricted panel. Legal fees in those instances can differ from the fees shown, which are intended to be a guide.

Fees payable will always be confirmed at the outset however.New build properties – supplement may be payable.

Limited company purchase – supplement may be payable.

Sale
Legal fees are based on the sale price.  Fee scale is the same as for purchases.

Remortgage
Legal fee inclusive of VAT and most disbursements: £449 or £499 depending on lender.
Additional items:
Bank transfer fee – £36
Land Registry Fee – eg £40 between £200,000 and £500,000
Any notice fees etc payable on leasehold properties
Loan amounts above £500,000, please refer.
